According to local legends, in ancient times, Dioscorus lived in these lands - a high-ranking and influential administrator. His daughter, Varvara, was famous for her unearthly and fabulous beauty. Driven by jealousy and a desire to protect her from prying eyes, her father took the harsh decision to lock her in a high tower. However, this isolation did not stop her spiritual path.<\/p>\n
