The comic plot of „COFFEE WITH A PRETENTION” takes us to Sofia in 1966. in the apartment of Milcho (Yulian Vergov) – 43 years old, head of an advertising agency. We find him there together with his „affair” – 43 years old Milko (Ivan Radoev). Hectic preparations are underway in anticipation of two ladies, who were accidentally talked to during the day, for a coffee on „Rakovska”… The instructions of Milcho, who is much more experienced in the dumps, almost inspire courage in Milko, who, although an architect, has led his career to the coveted position
„"head of the technical documentation of the service", and is extremely inexperienced when it comes to women. At the culmination of the preparation, their third friend arrives at the apartment, uninvited - 43-year-old Minko (Monyu Monev), a research assistant in Old Bulgarian. His deepest desire is to escape from the "family comfort", in whose
He soon finds himself in chains and having a drink with his friends. This evening and its unexpected outcome give rise to a bunch of ridiculous and funny situations.
