A system with a continuously moving steel cable. The cabins are automatically attached and detached at the stations.
The route runs from the center of Bansko to the upper station in the Shiligarnika area of Pirin.
Lower station: ~1000 m above sea level · Upper station Shiligarnika: ~2498 m above sea level.
The ascent from the lower to the upper station under normal operating conditions takes about 25-30 minutes.

During the winter season, the Gondola is the main artery of Bansko. It connects thousands of ski tourists to 75+ km of perfectly maintained and marked slopes — from green for beginners to black for experts.
Few tourists know that the Gondola also operates in the summer. It is the fastest and most environmentally friendly way to reach the starting points of numerous tourist routes in Pirin National Park.
