"Unique Bansko" Festival„

The "Unique Bansko" Festival is a three-day culinary and folklore celebration that presents the traditions, tastes and music of Bansko and the Pirin region.

The festival combines culinary tastings of typical Bansko specialties, folklore concerts, dance performances and demonstrations of local customs and crafts. The event aims to promote the local cuisine, folklore and the spirit of Bansko as a year-round tourist destination.

„"Unique Bansko" usually takes place in early September, over three days, on the central squares and streets of the city - mainly around Nikola Vaptsarov Square and Vazrazhdane Square. The program includes afternoon and evening events with free admission for residents and guests.

Program highlights:

• Culinary workshops and children's kitchens where traditional dishes from the region are prepared.
• Tastings and an exhibition-bazaar of local dishes, products and wines, presented by taverns, hotels and producers.
• Folklore concerts, processions with bagpipes and "babugeri", thematic performances dedicated to Bansko customs throughout the seasons.
