The success of Nikola Chongarov, who won third place, was a great joy for the local audience and proof of the growth of Bulgarian alpine athletes. A total of 76 athletes from over 10 countries, including Croatia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Turkey, took part in the competition.
