Prices vary significantly depending on the complexity of the case, the reputation of the lawyer, and whether it is a consultation, drafting of documents, or legal representation. There are minimal sizes in Regulation No. 1 of the Supreme Bar Council — the lawyer has no right to go below them. An initial consultation is usually up to a few dozen leva, a case — hundreds to thousands. Always insist on a written agreement.

Whenever: you have received a summons or court document; you are about to make a transaction with a property above a certain value; you have a dispute that you cannot resolve through conversation; you have been imposed a sanction that you want to appeal; you are starting a business or procedure with regulatory risk; it is about children, inheritance or family matters; you are arrested or a suspect. Often people come after having made a mistake - a good lawyer costs many times less as a preventative measure.

Heating is your biggest expense during winter in civil proceedings — yes, you can in person. In penal — for serious crimes, a lawyer is mandatory (if you do not have one, an official one is appointed). For cassation cases before the Supreme Court of Cassation, a lawyer is mandatory. However, practice shows that self-defense rarely works — the procedural rules are specific and an error in time or form can result in the loss of the case.

Lawyer is an independent member of the bar — works for various clients, has the right to represent before all courts. Legal consultant is an employee of a specific company or institution — works only for his employer. A legal advisor is not allowed to represent outside parties. Both are lawyers, but their scope is different.

It depends on the type and the instance. Roughly speaking: warrant proceedings — 2-4 weeks if there is no objection; divorce by mutual consent — 2-4 months; civil claim before a district court — 6-12 months; criminal case — from months to years depending on complexity. If you have three instances — add years. Your lawyer will give a more accurate estimate for your case.

Notary fees are regulated by Tariff of notary fees and depend on the type of action and the value of the property. Signature certification - a fixed small amount. Notary deed - a fee proportional to the value. When purchasing property, local acquisition tax and registration fee are added to the notary fee. All notaries work at the same rate - they cannot offer "cheaper".

If there is consent, you submit joint application for divorce by mutual consent with an agreement (property, children, alimony, family). If there is none - one spouse files divorce petition to the District Court at the defendant's permanent address. A lawyer is recommended - especially for children or property. The case is heard by the District Court (Razlog for our region).

A will may be challenged through a lawsuit due to: incapacity of the testator; violation of the reserved part of an heir at law; defect in form (a handwritten will without the necessary details, a notarial will without the necessary order); coercion or fraud. The term is general. 5 years from the knowledge. Lawyer - mandatory.

Bulgarian law protects descendants (children, grandchildren), the surviving spouse and, in some cases, the parents — cannot be completely disinherited even by will. The size of the reserved portion varies depending on the number and quality of the heirs. If a will impairs the reserved portion, the heirs may request its reduction.

Two options. Voluntary division — all co-owners agree and sign a division agreement before a notary. Judicial division — when there is no agreement; it goes through two phases: allowing the division (who are the parties and the quotas) and carrying it out (how it is actually divided — by drawing lots or public sale). Judicial division is long and expensive — try the voluntary one first.

1) Read carefully — what the proceedings are and in what capacity you are being summoned (defendant, witness, accused). 2) Write down the date of service — all deadlines start from it. 3) Contact a lawyer immediately — there are deadlines for response and objections. 4) Do not ignore — the court may hear the case without you and decide by default.

Do not testify without a lawyer. You have the right to a lawyer from the very beginning — ask for one explicitly. If you don't have the means — get one. Don't sign anything you don't understand. Inform a loved one. Remember the time, place, and names of the police officers. The police can detain you for up to 24 hours without a court order — then you have to go to court for a restraining order.

Through The National Legal Aid Bureau (NLAB). Eligible are: persons with income below the statutory threshold; victims of domestic violence or trafficking; children at risk; detained and convicted without means; in certain civil, criminal and administrative proceedings. You submit an application to the court hearing the case, or directly to the NBPP with documents on income and financial status.

Yes. The deadline is 7 days for slip and 14 days for a penal decree from the service. The appeal is filed through the authority that issued the act (the Traffic Court) to the District Court. If successful, the fine is canceled; if unsuccessful, it is confirmed or increased. It often costs more to appeal (lawyer, time) than the fine is - assess pragmatically.

A writ of execution is a court document that allows enforcement of claim. It is issued by a court after a decision, settlement or enforcement order has entered into force. With it, you go to a Private or State bailiff, who can impose garnishments on accounts, salaries (within limits), properties, and conduct an inventory and public sale.

First, try a peaceful solution and written correspondence. Then, signal to Labor inspection (for violations of labor law, unpaid wages, insurance contributions). For dismissal - claim proceedings within 2 months of the order being served. Do not miss the deadline — after that, the right to claim is lost. Lawyer — desirable.

1) Written complaint to the trader requesting a return within a reasonable time. 2) Report to CPC (Consumer Protection Commission). 3) In the case of a tourist package - mandatory tour operator insurance, you can claim from the insurer. 4) If all else fails — injunction proceedings before a court. For small amounts (below a certain threshold) — a very simplified procedure.

Copyright arise automatically with the creation of the work — they do not require registration, but it is good to have proof of priority (date). Trademark is registered in Patent Office (for Bulgaria) or EUIPO (for the EU) — without registration, protection is minimal. In case of infringement — civil claims for compensation and injunction.

It depends on the type of claim. The total term in civil law is 5 years. Special deadlines: 3 years for claims for interest, rent, wages, contractual penalties; 6 months for certain labor claims. Criminal — varies according to the severity of the crime. After the statute of limitations expires, the claim is not automatically extinguished — the debtor must raise it as an objection.

Judicial act on The Law on Protection from Domestic Violence, which prohibits the offender from certain actions — from approaching, contacting, visiting the victim's home/work. It is issued free. At risk - the court may issue immediate order within 24 hours. The final order is valid from 6 to 18 months. A violation is crime.

Notary is a person with public functions who certifies facts, signatures and documents (notarial deeds for properties, certifications, wills). Impartial is — represents not a country, but the law. Lawyer represents one side and protects her interests. In a real estate transaction, you usually need both — a lawyer for preparation and negotiations, and a notary for the final formalities.

1) Ensure safety and provide assistance to injured parties (112). 2) Call the traffic police — mandatory in case of injuries or serious damage. 3) Film the situation from different angles. 4) Exchange data (MPS, insurance, contacts) with the other participant. 5) Notify your insurer as soon as possible. In case of non-property damage (injuries) — medical documents and a lawyer for compensation.

The deed itself before a notary — usually 30 minutes to 1 hour. But the preparation takes days to weeks: property inspection, drawing up a sketch, certificate of encumbrances, certificate of tax assessment, clearing old encumbrances. That's why a good lawyer starts preparing weeks before the scheduled date of the transaction.

Every country initially pays his lawyer. Finally the losing side is ordered to pay the winning party's costs — but within limits (the minimum amounts under the regulation). This means that if you paid your lawyer more than the minimum, the difference remains at your expense even if you win completely.
