1. Driver's Licenses: Should You Replace Yours?

Here the rules are much stricter. How does the replacement proceed?
The procedure is carried out at the Traffic Police (Troop) sector in Blagoevgrad. You will need:
- Valid foreign driver's license (original).
- Foreigner's ID card (ID/Personal Identification Number).
- Medical certificate from a doctor in Bansko or Razlog.
- A document proving completed education (legalized and translated if from abroad – this is the slowest part of the process!).
- Receipt for paid state fee.
2. Vehicle registration (Vehicle Registration)
If you arrive in Bansko with a car with foreign registration, you have 6-month period, in which you can drive it with foreign license plates. After that, you are required to either take the car out of the country or register it with the traffic police with Bulgarian license plates.

4. Fines, cameras and road safety
